Photonics Apps
To celebrate the International Year of Light 2015 and promote photonics, along with GoPhoton! we have developed two smartphone apps. Most modern smartphones have a camera, flash/torch and impressive processing ability, which is certainly enough to perform some photonics experiments. The apps use this phone hardware to measure meaningful changes in light, such as redness of skin and can even measure heart rate. More details are available here.
