The tenth Biophotonics and Imaging (BIGSS 2026) Summer School will be held in Kylemore Abbey, Galway, Ireland this year, from the 3rd to the 7th of August. This a five ECTS accredited course with leading professors teaching to give a substantial grounding in the main topics of Biophotonics. BIGSS 2026 will include five days of lectures by world leaders in Biophotonics and Imaging, as well as highly interactive poster sessions.

Jessica Ramella-Roman (Florida) - Polarization-Microscopy

Lothar Lilge (Toronto) - Photo Medicine, Radiation Medicine and Nano Medicine

Jana Kainerstorfer (Carnegie-Mellon) – Diffuse Optics
