Kai Neuhaus
K
ai is a graduate student at the NUIG since 8/2013.
He has 5 years of industrial
experience in software development in Java programming and software
quality management. He studied Electrical Engineering in Germany at
the TU Chemnitz and Physics and Instrumentation at the GMIT, Ireland.
He has a keen interest in different programming languages including C/C++, Python, Elisp and has also substantial experience with LabView and MATLAB. His research interests are algorithmic programming, software to hardware interfacing and
optimization and optical system design.
During his project, he
will improve his understanding of the acquisition and processing of data generated by optical low coherence tomography systems, as
well as the integration of optical systems and the optimization of
data analysis systems, related to
other microscopic imaging technologies.
His personal motto:
